Taking Public Transport from Erfurt Airport
Erfurt Airport is highly accessible by all forms of public transport thanks to its central location.
Apart from the excellent road connections (via highway A71, Erfurt-Bindersleben exit), the airport is also very well connected with public
transport. The tram stop is directly in front of the terminal and the city rail line 4 gets you into the Erfurt City Centre in no time.
City rail line 4
The city rail line 4 of the Erfurt Transport Services operates between the “Wiesen- hügel” and “Bindersleben” terminuses. This line goes through the Erfurt main train station, and the Airport of the Thuringia state capital. The city rail operates on this route every 10 minutes on weekdays and takes 25 minutes.
So you’ll arrive in the Erfurt city centre easily and stress-free.
