Passengers with Disabilities
As one of the International Airports of Germany, Erfurt has been built barrier-free for easy usage by handicapped passengers. All areas are accessible stairways free, competent staff is available to assist your access to the aircraft. If you want to use the services for passengers with disabilities at the airport, we kindly ask you to register early. All airlines involved in your travel plans are being informed at the time of booking by your travel agency about your needs and the airlines have taken all measures for the flights and informed us, the airports, about your needs. Alternatively you can inform the airline directly. Service is provided by competent staff from the moment you register at the information or check-in counters to the moment you are taken over by the flight crew (or vice versa). Meet and Assist (MAAS)
If you request it, our service staff can assist you free of charge from the check-in to the aircraft or vice versa on arrival.
Wheelchair Service (WCHR/S/C)
On demand, wheelchairs are available free of charge for your access to the aircraft or back into the terminal.
Parking
In the parking lot across Terminal B and the parking garage, parking lots with easy accessibility to the terminal are signed for exclusive usage by passengers with disabilities. Parking is for passengers with reduced mobility (German ID "H", "GE", "BL") free of charge. For a free exit ticket, please exchange the one you received entering the parking lot at the Airport Information in Terminal B (proof of disability is required). Pre-arrangement by the travel agency is not necessary.
Sanitary Facilities, Toilets, Washrooms
Sanitary facilities, such as toilets or washrooms equipped for disabled passengers are available in the Terminal.
